2 Sisters Food Group
Circle Select was approached by a long-time client in the food manufacturing industry who needed to transfer £60 million worth of M&S business from their closing Pennine Foods site in Yorkshire to their state-of-the-art Rogerstone Park facility in Newport.

The client knew that Circle Select had a proven track record in rapid deployment of interim pop-up teams and asked for their assistance in filling several key roles at the Rogerstone Park location.

Solution
The roles that needed to be filled included an Interim Head of Technical, an interim Factory Technical Manager, three interim Process Development Technologists, and an Interim Specifications Technologist. To find the best candidates for these positions, Circle Select developed role-specific screening tools and sourced both active and passive candidates. They conducted competency-based interviews and presented the top candidates to the client for final interviews. Once an offer was accepted, Circle Select managed the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition.
Despite the saturated talent pool in the industry, Circle Select was able to deploy the entire team onsite within just 11 days. This rapid deployment allowed the client to successfully transfer the M&S business to the Rogerstone Park site and maintain a high level of productivity.
